The Story of 2S Ranch

2S Ranch has been family-owned and operated since 2003. Our mission is simple: care for the land, care for the cattle, and provide food families can trust.

Our brand, 2S, stands for two families — Simmons and Sculley (Martye’s maiden name). It’s more than a mark on cattle. It’s our promise of integrity.

WHY WE CHOSE REGENERATIVE

The way ranching used to be.

We began like many ranchers — buying cattle, selling at auction, following the feedlot model. But we knew there had to be a better way.

First, we switched to 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef. Then we went further with regenerative grazing — moving cattle across pastures so the land can recover. Healthy soil grows stronger grasses. Stronger grasses raise healthier cattle. Healthier cattle mean better food for families.

This isn’t new. It’s how ranching was done before chemicals and machines. We’re simply bringing it back.
