The quality of beef depends a great deal on how the cow was fed. However, the taste differs among grass-fed beef. For example, grass-fed/ finished beef from a ranch three hours east of our ranch will taste different than our beef. Same thing goes for beef raised anywhere but our ranch. Why is this? Even though the cows were both grass-fed/finished, they consumed different water and different grasses. What the cow eats has a major impact on the taste of the beef!
