It's Bluebonnet season in Texas!
Martye's distant cousin, Barry Miller (a state of Texas Senator) of Dallas, in 1901 introducted the resolution to name the Bluebonnet the state flower. Barry Miller later became the Lt. Governor of the state. The Bluebonnet is one of the most famous state flowers in the USA. Today, folks travel to Texas in the spring to view the blooming Bluebonnets.
