Did You Know?

It is estimated that close to 50% of meat and poultry on supermarket shelves in the US are contaminated with Staph. The USDA only routinely tests for four bacterias and Staph is not one of them. Researchers tested the contaminated meats and found that the livestock were the major source of contamination due to poor, densely stocked, dirty living conditions.

Do you want to take a gamble with your health and purchase meats that might be in that 50%? It's time to know your farmer and/ or rancher so that you don't have to worry about eating contaminated meats.
