Come Let Us Adore Him

Everyone seems to have a favorite Christmas decoration that they look forward to putting out each year. At our house it's nativity scenes. Martye has loved nativities for as long as anyone can remember. She has collected nativities from numerous national and international trips as well as from local stores and gifts from friends. Each of her nativities are unique and remind her of special memories.

The other day she was asked how many nativites she has and Martye didn't exactly know. When she counted she realized that she had over 60 she said, "I don't know why I collect these except that I just love them!" Martye displays her nativities throughout the entire house. The little cowboys love looking at them and even playing with a couple of "kid safe" nativities in the playroom.  There really is nothing sweeter than the lowly birth of our savior and king, Jesus. The nativities throughout the house really are the perfect reminder of what this season is truly about.
