The Thank You Note Dilemma

There are are certain indisputable truths such as the earth revolves around the sun and guys don't like to write thank you notes.  Did you know that 94% of all cards and stationary are purchased by women?  The problem could be the card selection.

Have you ever tried to purchase a thank you card appropriate for a guy to write on?  I (Bart) refuse to write a thank you note on stationary with flowers, a poem, or a pastel painting on the front cover.  I don't like cards with "THANK YOU" in big, bright, bold letters on the front.   I shy away from balls or geometric designs.  I refuse to buy a card with a weird little photo or a cutesy saying on the back cover.   In addition, there is the size issue.  The card and writing space must be small.  Guys use the three line rule when writing a thank you note.  Basically everything can be expressed in three lines.  Let's face it, guys write small or we print.  We don't use emoticons.....like a smiley face sideways when writing (these all take up a lot of space on the card).   We need small cards.

Yes, these notes need to be in small cards!! After searching for the right kind of card, I decided to make my own cards. As a hobby I like to sketch. A few years ago I started sketching the boots of our family members. I decided that these would be perfect to turn into cards. So with a little help from a local printing shop, I designed my own line of cowboy boot cards.
